Philippe Legrand

Philippe Legrand received his PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry from University of Paris in 1987. He is Professor of Biochemistry and Nutrition in the Agronomic University of Rennes.
He has worked for more than 20 years on unsaturated and saturated fatty acid metabolism and more precisely on desaturation and protein acylation.
He is chairman of the French committee for the fatty acid dietary recommendations, in the Food Safety Agency (AFSSA). |
